Simple Grace - - Mood Index -

Dear child, I am so deeply sorry for your loss and the pain that you feel in the wake of it. But there is a way to use that blessed hole in your heart to become truly whole.

Why do I say that? Because your loved one is alive in

Me. And your bond with your beloved survives death. You can follow your eternal bond to touch the spirit of your loved one in Me.

Do you have a few minutes right now? If so, sit comfortably, close your eyes and let go of the tension you hold in your mind in the form of worries, and in your body in the form of clenching. Become aware of your breath: As you breathe in, imagine you’re drawing My essence into your being. As you breathe out, imagine sending Me what’s most beautiful in your heart. As you draw breath, feel how I love you, and as you release breath, feel how you love Me. Settle into a rhythm of this heavenly give-and-take, then bring to your heart the one you love. Feel yourself drawing in this person’s love as you breathe in, and sending out your love as you breathe out. Let go of any doubts or worries as they come up in your mind and just relax and let this love flow.

Could you feel how your bond still holds? Could you feel a sense of your loved one and her continued love for you? I hope so. I’m here and so is she: Love never dies. —Jesus to the crowd,

Matthew 18:18 NKJV

“Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”
