Simple Grace - - Mood Index -

“Dear Lord, I hate to admit this, but I’ve fallen asleep in prayer several times in the past week. It actually happens more often than not. Whether I pray in the morning or the evening, I find myself feeling warm and somehow overwhelmed, and I nod off into a strange nap. I’m so sorry! How can I keep from doing this again?”

—Paul in a letter to the Romans, 8:26 NASB

Wisdom of the Word

We do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.

We understand and yet…

We often end up feeling sleepy after sending our hearts out to You in prayer. We feel so bad about this that we start avoiding praying. How can we do better?
