Simple Grace - - Mood Index -

Dear child, have you ever thrown a pebble into a pond and watched as the ripples radiated outward? Maybe you then tossed another pebble in and followed those ripples as they came into contact with the others. If you imagine continuing to toss stones into that pond, you can imagine an entire web of conflicting water currents. That’s like your spirit when you have too much to handle.

When you come— as a small conflicted pond—to your Father in spirit, you are brought into contact with a vast, powerful, coherent majesty that’s more like the ocean. When you believe in your Father’s magnificence and allow the Holy Spirit to marry with your spirit, it’s like the beautiful waves and tides of the ocean overtake everything in you that flows at cross purposes. Your Father’s currents reorder your ripples, and you’re left feeling clean, whole and purposeful.

This is why it’s so essential that you spend a few minutes every day offering up all that drags and tugs at your heart to your Father, Myself and the Spirit. We three can work in loving tandem to create order and purpose in your spirit. After just five minutes of this reordering, you’re left with a residue of joy and peace that will last throughout your day. Let’s try it now!

“Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him.”
