Salty ’n’ But­tery Sweet Pota­toes

AC­TIVE TIME: 15 min. TO­TAL TIME: 1 hr. SERVES: 6

Simple Grace - - Sunday Supper -

1⁄4 cup melted but­ter

2 Tbs. minced fresh chives 1 clove gar­lic, minced

6 small sweet pota­toes 1 Heat grill to medium-high (or heat oven to 425°F). In bowl, com­bine first 3 in­gre­di­ents; sea­son with salt and pep­per. Re­serve 1 Tbs. mix­ture. 2 Place 1 potato on wooden spoon. Us­ing knife, cut cross­wise into thin slices, cut­ting most of the way through. Re­peat with re­main­ing pota­toes. Place each potato on sheet of foil and brush tops with but­ter mix­ture. Wrap in foil, leav­ing tops open. Place on grill and cook 40 min. (or bake 1 hr.) un­til ten­der.
