Simple Grace - - Mood Index -

Dear child, you do well to steer clear of any practice that summons help from any spirit other than the Holy Spirit. While having a lucky rock is fine, invoking powers other than your Father, Myself and the Spirit is risky.

When I walked your world, I spoke of living water and the bread of life. Since you live in different times, another kind of metaphor might help. Imagine that when you send Me love, it’s like using a password to get into an online network. Once you’re in, you can “stream” what’s available on that particular network via the Holy Spirit. In this way, you consume the bread of life, you drink the living water.

The danger, of course, is that you accidentally tap into the wrong network and end up streaming what comes from the enemy. What starts as aimless experimenting can then lead to a download that is difficult to handle, hard to break away from. So you are right to caution those you love.

Since you can only stream one network at a time, as long as you’re connecting with Me in love, you stay safe. (Invoking My name and sending Me love is offensive to My enemies and so will not lead to them.) Do you want to renew your divine connection now? Send Me a wave of your loving gratitude and feel the Holy Spirit lift your spirit. Rest in Me and emerge beautifully renewed.

“I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.”

—Jesus to the crowd,
