“Dear Lord, yesterday several of us came upon a dog locked in a sweltering car in a parking lot. When the owner appeared, we were so irate that we started yelling, and someone even lunged at him. The cops broke it up, but we were—I was!—out of control. Now I feel deeply ashamed. How do I keep myself from getting swept up by a crowd again?”
Wisdom of the Word
