Sal­vaged Pages: Young Writ­ers’ Diaries of the Holo­caust, which won a Na­tional Jewish Book Award. Since then, she’s stud­ied other, postHolo­caust jour­nals and be­come a lead­ing ex­pert on diaries of young peo­ple in wartime (p. 80).
