For the first five years Snow­mo­bile North Dakota was in ex­is­tence an an­nual meet­ing was held in the spring be­fore the con­ven­tion was im­ple­mented

In 1979 it was agreed to go to a fall con­ven­tion in lieu of the spring an­nual meet­ing

Speak­ers have in­cluded Jerry Bas­sett with SnowGoer, C.J. Ram­stad with Snow­mo­bile Mag­a­zine, Mylo Hatzen­buh­ler, Edgar Het­teen the founder of Arc­tic Cat and Po­laris, Too Tall Tom the weath­er­man, Brad Pozarn­sky an Idi­tarod Sled­dog­ger, Clark Collins with the BlueRib­bon Coali­tion, Mike Is­land a pro­fes­sional snocross racer for Ski-Doo and 2003 X Games Cham­pion and many rep­re­sen­ta­tives from the four man­u­fac­tur­ers
