MAGIC CITY DRIFT BUSTERS
Snowmobile fever has hit our club, with a few members in particular suffering from a severe case of it. Or at least, that is the diagnosis one would make based on their recent Facebook postings.
The state convention may have caused this affliction to spread, with many more now eagerly anticipating some accumulating snowfall. Hopefully those suffering from this ailment can soon get their cure out on the trail in time for the three scheduled Minot area fun runs.
The first run being the Dakota Trailblazers Fun Run on Saturday, December 13th. The next run will be right after the start of New Year on Saturday, January 3rd hosted by the Magic City Drift busters. With the Gasmann Coulee Cruisers hosting the last scheduled Minot area Fun Run on Saturday, January 17th.
Even if there is no snow on the ground (I really didn’t just say that), the fun runs are still enjoyable events to get out and spend time with friends, ride (or drive) the trails, and visit our surrounding small towns.
There is always that chance you may go home the big winner, but for sure you will go home having enjoyed some time either out enjoying the trail with friends and family, or just enjoying their company as you warm up at each fun run stop.
So here’s hoping that by the time this article is in print we will have enough snow for the trails to be groomed and open, and our Facebook friends will be posting photos of their great ride, or their buddy who got himself stuck in the snow.
Hope to see you at the Fun Runs! Jennifer Korgel
