Fans on Digest’s Facebook page weighed in on the 47th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards. Deb H. noted, “The problem with the Daytime Emmys is that those who vote in it only see, I think, two episodes. That does not give anyone the chance to see what’s happening in a storyline and what these actors can do. There needs to be a better way of voting on these.” Keith A. groused, “Arianne Zucker [Nicole] from DAYS was robbed! ... And how could Susan Seaforth Hayes [Julie] not win yet again? She had a great year.” Maryann B. lauded, “DAYS is my favorite and everyone deserves accolades for a job well done.” DAYS viewer Candy T. remarked, “Congrats to Olivia Rose Keegan [Claire]! I really wanted Will [Chandler Massey] and Nicole to win, too. They are both so awesome.” Rhonda S. offered,

“Maura West [Ava, GH] should have won, that’s two years in a row she was robbed. And Eden [Mccoy, Josslyn] did a fabulous job. She has one coming, the kid is great.” Yvonne M. shared, “I wanted Xander [Paul Telfer], Tony [Thaao Penghlis] or Chandler from DAYS to win but nope ... Claire, congrats though!

I’m always surprised that DAYS wins few awards and I’m always surprised by the In Memoriam passings. There are always a few actors/actresses you never hear of passing ... sad.”
