Blood on side­walk

Po­lice ac­tiv­ity the morn­ing of Aug. 29 on Re­liance Road on the bor­der of Telford and Soud­er­ton was for an in­ves­ti­ga­tion af­ter blood was found on a side­walk, Telford Bor­ough Po­lice Depart­ment said.

The blood was from a med­i­cal emer­gency the pre­vi­ous day, po­lice said. Be­cause it was a med­i­cal emer­gency and no crime in­volved, the po­lice had not been called the pre­vi­ous day and did not ini­tially know the rea­son for the blood, po­lice said. was on Plank Road headed to­ward the in­ter­sec­tion with Gravel Pike (Route 29) in Perkiomen Town­ship, crossed Gravel Pike and hit a tree about 5:25 a.m. Aug. 15, Penn­syl­va­nia State Po­lice at Skip­pack said.

Alder­fer was taken by Lower Fred­er­ick Re­gional EMS to Grand View Hospi­tal with mi­nor in­juries, po­lice said. The ve­hi­cle was towed, po­lice said.

Alder­fer is be­ing tick­eted for vi­o­la­tion of stop sign or yield sign rules, po­lice said.
