•A Fam­ily Bingo Night will be held Fri­day, Oct. 19 at 7 p.m. (doors open at 6 p.m.) at Knights of Colum­bus of Our Lady of the Sa­cred Heart of Hill­town, 2011 Hill­town Pike. For $5 you will re­ceive 9 bingo cards for 9 games. Chil­dren are per­mit­ted as long as they are ac­com­pa­nied by a play­ing adult. Pro­ceeds en­able the Knights to continue their acts of char­ity.

• The 20th An­nual Haunted Hayride will be held Oct. 19, 20, 26 & 27 (cos­tume night) from 7-10 p.m. at Tyler­sport Vol­un­teer Fire Com­pany. Tick­ets are $10 per per­son; chil­dren un­der five are free; a VIP ticket is $20 which gets you to the front of the line; and Oct. 20 is buddy night where you buy two tick­ets for $18. • The 30th An­nual Har­leysville Hal­loween Parade will be held Satur­day, Oct. 20 at 11 a.m. Reg­is­tra­tion at 9:30 a.m. and judg­ing at 10:30 a.m. at In­dian Val­ley Mid­dle School, Maple Ave., Har­leysville. Lower Sal­ford Po­lice Dept. (in con­junc­tion with the United States Marine Corps) will col­lect new, un­wrapped Toys for Tots along the parade route. Spe­cific drop off lo­ca­tions throughout the town­ship will be an­nounced at a later date. Prize awards, en­ter­tain­ment and free food and drinks af­ter the parade will be at the Har­leysville Community Cen­ter. •A Spaghetti and Meat­ball Din­ner Fundraiser will be held Satur­day, Oct. 20 from 4-8 p.m. at the Knights of Colum­bus, Pius IX Coun­cil, 258 West 8th St., Lans­dale. Din­ner in­cludes salad, dessert and non-al­co­holic bev­er­age; wine and bar drinks avail­able for pur­chase. A fixed price do­na­tion of $9 for adults, $6 for chil­dren 6-12 years of age, and chil­dren five and un­der are free. All pro­ceeds ben­e­fit char­i­ta­ble causes as well as community outreach. • Penn Foun­da­tion’s Tenth An­nual Au­tumn Event Fundraiser will be held Tues­day, Oct. 23 at 7:30 p.m. at Cal­vary Church Au­di­to­rium, 820 Route 113, Soud­er­ton. Award-win­ning jour­nal­ist and men­tal health ad­vo­cate Jane Pauley will be the fea­tured speaker.
