Though the Cruisers Cantius 42 replaces the builder’s Cantius 41, there are few similarities between the two. Introduced at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show last November, the Cantius 42 has a distinctive, European look compared with the 41’s express-style lines.

Inside, the galley has been moved up and positioned aft in the saloon, providing easy access to guests in the cockpit through a set of sliding glass doors. Belowdecks is a two-stateroom layout with the master in the bow and a VIP stateroom amidships.

Standard power is a pair of 370hp Volvo Penta D6 diesels mated to IPS500 pod drives, which are good for a 30-knot top end and a 27-knot cruise. Joystick steering is ready for closequarters maneuvering.
