Becker & Po­li­akoff hosts ‘Sis­ter to Sis­ter ’ lun­cheon

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Becker & Po­li­akoff share­holder and state lob­by­ist Yolanda Cash Jack­son hosted the semi­an­nual “Sis­ter to Sis­ter” lun­cheon at the firm’s Fort Lauderdale of­fice last Thurs­day, June 22.

The event is part of the “Sis­ter to Sis­ter” city/state net­work­ing group de­signed to cel­e­brate and con­nect African Amer­i­can women in busi­ness and pol­i­tics. The lun­cheon was at­tended by the Lauderdale Lakes com­mis­sion, which is com­prised en­tirely of African Amer­i­can women in­clud­ing: Mayor Hazelle P. Rogers, Vice Mayor Veron­ica Ed­wards Phillips, and com­mis­sion­ers San­dra Davey, Glo­ria Lewis and Bev­erly Wil­liams.

“As part of the firm’s com­mit­ment to sup­port­ing the ad­vance­ment of African Amer­i­can women in pol­i­tics and busi­ness while ad­vo­cat­ing for the in­ter­ests of un­der­rep­re­sented com­mu­ni­ties through­out Florida, I am honored to host the ‘Sis­ter to Sis­ter’ lun­cheon,” Jack­son said.
