Broward to Dade funeral procession to commemorate Martin Luther King’s life
FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. - April 4, marks fifty years since the assassination of Martin Luther King and the Roots Collective is partnering with South Florida leaders to commemorate his life and legacy, along with all the black lives lost to violence with what they’re hoping will be the largest funeral procession in South Florida history.
Interested in participating? Meet up – in your car - at the African-American Research Library and Cultural Center (2650 Sistrunk Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311) at 3:00 PM on April 4.
