The Historic Ali Cul­tural Arts cel­e­brates Haitian Her­itage Month

The Historic Ali Cul­tural Arts in Pom­pano Beach is celebrating the is­land na­tion’s cul­tural in­flu­ences with a free event, “Haiti: The Strength of a Na­tion - A Re­minder of its Con­tri­bu­tions to the World.” The af­ter­noon will fea­ture per­for­mances by Sassy Singz, We Dem Zoes, Self_Made, dancer Claudel Theagene with The Roots, along with other sur­prises. The event will be hosted by Regine Bell, Mrs. Lit­tle Haiti Plus Amer­ica 2018, Queen.

“We are thrilled to be celebrating Haitian Her­itage Month with a daz­zling dis­play of mu­sic, po­etry, dance, art, fash­ion and food,” said Cherolyn Davis, di­rec­tor of pro­gram­ming and fa­cil­i­ties. “This event will be an in­spir­ing cel­e­bra­tion of all of the dy­namic and eclec­tic con­tri­bu­tions of Haitian cul­ture on the global com­mu­nity.”
