FINAL THOUGHTS

Erich Rogers

Spin to Win Rodeo - - Departments -

“The morning after I won the world, we went and got the horses and the steers. I bought two - the fifth-round steer, because we won that round, and the 10th-round steer, because it was steer #13, in Las Vegas, for the 10th round. It felt good, amazing, really, but they take the buckle from you that night to get your name on it, so it wasn't the same. We loaded up and left Las Vegas by 11:30 a.m. I have my name written all over my truck, so everyone was honking and wav ing on the way home. At times I feel like the same average guy, but the people who know rodeo and roping, they make you feel like something different—it feels great.”
