NEW BOATS & GEAR
GRADY-WHITE SAYS it has reinvented the center console Canyon 306, introducing a new console with a full windshield, bow seating changes and major helm-area enhancements.
The bow now features optional forward-facing, foldaway bolstered backrests. Swing the backrests out of the way and deploy the optional insert for a roomy casting platform.
At the console, the boat’s new standard hardtop sports a full-height windshield for enhanced protection against the elements. Grady streamlined the helm by flush-mounting the electronics. Throttles now reside front and center, and gauges and switches mount across the top of the console.
Aside from the updates, the 306 comes with a 47-gallon lighted livewell featuring full-column aeration and a molded-in window, aft of the companion helm seat. The area also has a sink, rigging station, tackle drawers, rod holders and an insulated bait locker.
The 306 offers 290 gallons of fuel capacity and can handle up to 700 hp on the transom. In factory tests with twin Yamaha F350s, the boat hit 59.1 mph at 6,000 rpm, achieving 0.86 mpg.
