(Sphyraena barracuda)

Sport Fishing - - FISH FACTS -

With one of the creepiest faces in fishdom, the great barracuda often lives up to its fish-chopping reputation, hanging around drifting boats to nail hooked fish as they’re cranked in. On the flats, their burst speed at strike is one of the fastest of any fish. Cudas are found in most tropical seas; the IGFA record is 87 pounds, 3 ounces, from Christmas Island, Kiribati, in 2012.
