He was turned over to the 35th District police, police said. THEFTS >> Items were taken from two unlocked vehicles in Wyndmoor overnight May 16, police said. Change was taken from a vehicle in the 7900 block of Ardmore Avenue, and a Sunoco credit card was taken from a vehicle in the 500 block of Wyndmoor Avenue, police said. FRAUD >> A Laverock woman reported May 17 receiving a call from an unknown male saying her grandson was in custody and he needed $8,200 for bail, police said. The victim said she didn’t have that much money and was told to wire a $2,800 Moneygram to a New Jersey address, which another member of the family did, police said. The victims then got in touch with the grandson, who was not in jail and was fine, police said. DISORDERLY CONDUCT >> Sreyrina Rous, 20, of the 200 block of Lima Street, Philadelphia, was cited for disorderly conduct after she was found in possession of a small amount of marijuana when a vehicle she was a passenger in was stopped for an equipment violation at 11:09 p.m. May 17 in the 8800 block of Stenton Avenue, Wyndmoor, police said. THEFT >> A pair of sunglasses was stolen from a vehicle entered overnight May 17 while parked in the 500 block of Filbert Road, Oreland, police said. DRUG CHARGES >> Brian Genth, 22, of the 5200 block of North Front Street, Philadelphia, was arrested at 5 p.m. May 18 at the 7-Eleven, 1003 Willow Grove Avenue, Wyndmoor, during a drug buy following an investigation by detectives, police said. Genth was charged with possession with intent to deliver, dealing in proceeds from an unlawful activity, criminal use of a communication facility, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia, police said. He was arraigned before District Judge Juanita Price and taken to Montgomery County Prison in lieu of $10,000 cash bail. A preliminary hearing was scheduled for May 30. AUTO THEFT >> A 2005 red Mazda6 was stolen from the Citgo gas station, 101 Allison Road, Oreland, where it was waiting to be serviced, police said. The vehicle was found May 19 at Stenton and Wyncote avenues by Philadelphia police, police said. MIDDLE SCHOOL >> A 14-yearold male student at Springfield Middle School was found with a small amount of marijuana in his locker at 2:30 p.m. May 19, police said. He was referred to the Youth Aid Panel, police said. PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS >> Robert Drelling, 34, of the 100 block of Plymouth Avenue, Oreland, was cited for public drunkenness after he was found stumbling in the area of Church Road and Meadow Lane at 6:01 a.m. May 20, police said. A portable breath test showed a high BAC and he was evaluated by ambulance personnel and then released to a sober person at his home, police said, DUI >> Erich A. Schill, 21, of the 600 block of Oreland Mill Road, Oreland, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a one-vehicle crash at 4:08 a.m. April 28 at North Fairway and Tee roads, Glenside, police said. A resident of the 800 block of South Fairway heard a crash and went outside and saw a parked vehicle had been struck and a vehicle with heavy front end damage trying to leave the scene, police said. Schill said his friend was driving them home from a bar and made a wrong turn and then drifted into the parked vehicle and was injured, and he told him to get in the back seat, and he got into the driver’s seat and drove away from the crash, police said. An officer found the vehicle pulled over on the side of the road, police said. Schill showed signs of intoxication and refused field testing and a blood test, police said.
