The children not only attended the show and heard lectures but also visited the Design Horticultural Landscape Department as an unplanned treat and interacted with the high school students there. Students were assigned to write essays on their trip so they were all busy taking notes. — Submitted by Ruthmarie Brooks Silver Barb Schmidt, chair of Youth Team for Marshall Street School, makes a few points during the flower show.
