Rosann Marie Sto­er­rle of Am­bler

Rosann Marie Sto­er­rle, age 57, a life­long res­i­dent of Am­bler died Thurs­day, May 18, 2017, sur­rounded by her lov­ing fam­ily fol­low­ing a coura­geous bat­tle with breast can­cer.

She is the daugh­ter of the late Charles and Mary (nee Depaul) Leach.

Rosann was an Elec­tronic Assem­bler em­ployed by the Veeco Pre­ci­sion Sur­face Pro­cess­ing, for­merly known as Solid State in Hor­sham for 22 years prior to De­cem­ber 2016.

Rosann was a lov­ing and self­less wife and mother with a won­der­ful sense of hu­mor. She al­ways looked out for the safety and well-be­ing of her fam­ily and friends.

She loved go­ing to the casi­nos. Rosann was an avid seam­stress and cro­cheter. She en­joyed mak­ing Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls from scratch and cro­cheted beau­ti­ful blan­kets. Rosann was a Dis­ney fan and en­joyed color­ing, driv­ing, puzzles, danc­ing, and singing to a va­ri­ety of dif­fer­ent mu­sic. She also en­joyed go­ing on fam­ily va­ca­tions to Ohio, and Wild Wood NJ. In ad­di­tion, Roseann also en­joyed play­ing vol­ley­ball, the game where she and her hus­band Dean met.

Rosann is sur­vived by her beloved hus­band of 34 years, Dean Leonard; and her de­voted chil­dren Jen­nifer Lynn, Melisa Ann, and Ja­son Wil­liam Sto­er­rle all of Am­bler. She is also sur­vived by sis­ters: An­gela Am­bro­gio, Anna Marie Swift, Mary Leach and her hus­band James Schilling; and He­len Hos­good and her hus­band Les. She will be missed by her faith­ful dogs, Joey and Dusty.

Rel­a­tives and friends cel­e­brated Rosann’s life on May 24, 2017 at the An­ton B. Ur­ban Fu­neral Home in Am­bler, with Rev. Frank Say­ford of­fi­ci­at­ing.
