Rosann Marie Stoerrle of Ambler
Rosann Marie Stoerrle, age 57, a lifelong resident of Ambler died Thursday, May 18, 2017, surrounded by her loving family following a courageous battle with breast cancer.
She is the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (nee Depaul) Leach.
Rosann was an Electronic Assembler employed by the Veeco Precision Surface Processing, formerly known as Solid State in Horsham for 22 years prior to December 2016.
Rosann was a loving and selfless wife and mother with a wonderful sense of humor. She always looked out for the safety and well-being of her family and friends.
She loved going to the casinos. Rosann was an avid seamstress and crocheter. She enjoyed making Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls from scratch and crocheted beautiful blankets. Rosann was a Disney fan and enjoyed coloring, driving, puzzles, dancing, and singing to a variety of different music. She also enjoyed going on family vacations to Ohio, and Wild Wood NJ. In addition, Roseann also enjoyed playing volleyball, the game where she and her husband Dean met.
Rosann is survived by her beloved husband of 34 years, Dean Leonard; and her devoted children Jennifer Lynn, Melisa Ann, and Jason William Stoerrle all of Ambler. She is also survived by sisters: Angela Ambrogio, Anna Marie Swift, Mary Leach and her husband James Schilling; and Helen Hosgood and her husband Les. She will be missed by her faithful dogs, Joey and Dusty.
Relatives and friends celebrated Rosann’s life on May 24, 2017 at the Anton B. Urban Funeral Home in Ambler, with Rev. Frank Sayford officiating.
