THEFTS » A GPS was stolen from an un­locked ve­hi­cle in the 800 block of East­ern Av­enue, Wyn­d­moor, overnight June 19, po­lice said. Loose change was taken from an­other un­locked ve­hi­cle on the same block, and a third ve­hi­cle was gone through, but noth­ing was taken, po­lice said. A small amount of cur­rency was taken from a ve­hi­cle in the 7800 block of New Street, Wyn­d­moor, overnight June 19, which may be re­lated to the oth­ers, po­lice said. THEFTS » A res­i­dent of the 8800 block of Wainwright Road, Wyn­d­moor, re­ported that three un­locked ve­hi­cles in the drive­way of the home were en­tered overnight June 19, and a GPS and a set of golf clubs were taken, po­lice said. A black Gucci purse with four credit cards was stolen from an un­locked ve­hi­cle out­side an­other home on the same block, po­lice said. THEFT »The pas­sen­ger side win­dow of a ve­hi­cle parked at the Flour­town Swim Club, 1528 Beth­le­hem Pike, was found smashed out at 6:14 p.m. June 20 and a lunch­box con­tain­ing a wal­let with credit cards had been taken, po­lice said. THEFT » A small amount of cash was taken from an un­locked ve­hi­cle in the 100 block of Rorer Street, Er­den­heim, as well as a ve­hi­cle in the drive­way of a home in the 100 block of Er­den­heim Road overnight June 20, po­lice said. THEFTS » Change was taken from two ve­hi­cles at one home and one at an­other on the 400 block of At­wood Road, Er­den­heim, overnight June 22, po­lice said. AUTO STOLEN » A 2015 gray Ford Ex­plorer, PA li­cense JBX9325, was re­ported stolen at 9:40 a.m. June 25 from the drive­way of a home in the 600 block of More­land Av­enue, po­lice said. The vic­tim said the keys were in­side the ve­hi­cle, po­lice said. AR­REST » Daniel Tal­ley, 45, of the 200 block of Ulmer Av­enue, Ore­land, was ar­rested and charged with ag­gra­vated as­sault, ter­ror­is­tic threats, stalk­ing, reck­lessly en­dan­ger­ing an­other per­son and ha­rass­ment af­ter a bul­let hole was found in a ve­hi­cle in the 300 block of Ply­mouth Av­enue, Ore­land, June 20, po­lice said. A wit­ness re­ported hear­ing a sin­gle gun­shot be­tween 11:30 p.m. and mid­night June 19, and fol­low­ing an in­ves­ti­ga­tion, Tal­ley was iden­ti­fied as the sus­pect, po­lice said. He was ar­raigned be­fore Dis­trict Judge Pa­tri­cia Zaf­farano and taken to Mont­gomery County Cor­rec­tional Fa­cil­ity in lieu of bail set at $75,000 cash, on­line court records show. A pre­lim­i­nary hear­ing was sched­uled for July 11 be­fore Dis­trict Judge Katherine Mcgill. DUI » John H. Thain 3rd, 19, of the unit block of East Gowen Av­enue, Philadel­phia, was charged with driv­ing un­der the in­flu­ence of alcohol and a con­trolled sub­stance, DUI as a mi­nor and pos­ses­sion of drug para­pher­na­lia, af­ter po­lice re­sponded to a call of a sus­pi­cious ve­hi­cle at 2:46 a.m. April 22 at Pat­ton and Far­rell roads, po­lice said. Thain, who was stand­ing next to his ve­hi­cle with an­other male, said they were as­sess­ing the dam­age to a flat tire, af­ter strik­ing a pot­hole, po­lice said. Thain showed some signs of in­tox­i­ca­tion and was trans­ported to Chest­nut Hill Hos­pi­tal for a blood test, which showed a 0.132 per­cent BAC and traces of mar­i­juana, po­lice said. A pipe and bot­tle with mar­i­juana res­i­dent were found in­side the trunk of the ve­hi­cle, po­lice said. DUI » Jen­nifer J. Scott, 44, of the 6300 block of East­wood Street, Philadel­phia, was charged with driv­ing un­der the in­flu­ence and careless driv­ing fol­low­ing a two-ve­hi­cle crash in the unit block of West Wis­sahickon Av­enue at 9:13 p.m. May 28, po­lice said. Scott, whose ve­hi­cle had struck a parked ve­hi­cle, had an odor of alcohol on her breath and glassy eyes, and field tests showed signs of im­pair­ment, po­lice said. She was taken to Chest­nut Hill Hos­pi­tal for a blood test, which showed a 0.275 per­cent BAC, po­lice said. DUI » Gabriel S. Fer­nan­des, 22, of the unit block of Hick­ory Drive, Hor­sham, was charged with driv­ing un­der the in­flu­ence, a stop sign vi­o­la­tion, leav­ing the scene of an ac­ci­dent and speed­ing fol­low­ing a on­eve­hi­cle crash at 2:34 a.m. April 29 in the 300 block of Long­field Road, po­lice said. A res­i­dent of the block heard a crash and saw a light-col­ored SUV back out of the neigh­bor’s lawn and drive down Long­field, and a short time later, Fer­nan­des’ sil­ver SUV was lo­cated in the 900 block of Long­field with ex­ten­sive dam­age and frag­ments of both the fence and a tree from the crash still on the ve­hi­cle, po­lice said. Fer­nan­dez, who said he had struck a pot­hole, had a strong odor of alcohol on him and ap­peared con­fused, po­lice said. Af­ter fail­ing field tests, he was trans­ported to Chest­nut Hill Hos­pi­tal for a blood test, which showed a 0.157 per­cent BAC, po­lice said.
