ARREST » Daniel Talley, 45, of the 200 block of Ulmer Avenue, Oreland, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats, stalking, recklessly endangering another person and harassment after a bullet hole was found in a vehicle in the 300 block of Plymouth Avenue, Oreland, June 20, police said. A witness reported hearing a single gunshot between 11:30 p.m. and midnight June 19, and following an investigation, Talley was identified as the suspect, police said. He was arraigned before District Judge Patricia Zaffarano and taken to Montgomery County Correctional Facility in lieu of bail set at $75,000 cash, online court records show. A preliminary hearing was scheduled for July 11 before District Judge Katherine Mcgill. DUI » John H. Thain 3rd, 19, of the unit block of East Gowen Avenue, Philadelphia, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and a controlled substance, DUI as a minor and possession of drug paraphernalia, after police responded to a call of a suspicious vehicle at 2:46 a.m. April 22 at Patton and Farrell roads, police said. Thain, who was standing next to his vehicle with another male, said they were assessing the damage to a flat tire, after striking a pothole, police said. Thain showed some signs of intoxication and was transported to Chestnut Hill Hospital for a blood test, which showed a 0.132 percent BAC and traces of marijuana, police said. A pipe and bottle with marijuana resident were found inside the trunk of the vehicle, police said. DUI » Jennifer J. Scott, 44, of the 6300 block of Eastwood Street, Philadelphia, was charged with driving under the influence and careless driving following a two-vehicle crash in the unit block of West Wissahickon Avenue at 9:13 p.m. May 28, police said. Scott, whose vehicle had struck a parked vehicle, had an odor of alcohol on her breath and glassy eyes, and field tests showed signs of impairment, police said. She was taken to Chestnut Hill Hospital for a blood test, which showed a 0.275 percent BAC, police said. DUI » Gabriel S. Fernandes, 22, of the unit block of Hickory Drive, Horsham, was charged with driving under the influence, a stop sign violation, leaving the scene of an accident and speeding following a onevehicle crash at 2:34 a.m. April 29 in the 300 block of Longfield Road, police said. A resident of the block heard a crash and saw a light-colored SUV back out of the neighbor’s lawn and drive down Longfield, and a short time later, Fernandes’ silver SUV was located in the 900 block of Longfield with extensive damage and fragments of both the fence and a tree from the crash still on the vehicle, police said. Fernandez, who said he had struck a pothole, had a strong odor of alcohol on him and appeared confused, police said. After failing field tests, he was transported to Chestnut Hill Hospital for a blood test, which showed a 0.157 percent BAC, police said.
