Robert Henry Whit­tock of Cen­tre Square, PA passed away on June 16, 2017 at home at the age of 81.

Born in Norristown on June 20, 1936 son of the late Henry and Mary Ella (Cas­sel) Whit­tock.

He was a mem­ber of the Am­bler High School class of 1954 and em­ployed as a Tool and Dye Maker at Budd Com­pany, Hunt­ing Park Plant, Philadel­phia for 43 years un­til his re­tire­ment in 1997. Robert served in the Naval Re­serve and was a mem­ber of St John Lutheran Church and be­longed to Wis­sahickon Val­ley His­toric So­ci­ety, Cen­tre Square Fire Co, and was a Whitpain Town­ship Hon­orary His­to­rian.

Robert is sur­vived by his wife of 57 years Ma­bel (Nee Bern­hard), chil­dren Linda Whit­tock Tour­dot (Roger J., Jr), and Sharon Whit­tock Brun­ner (Robert) both of Blue Bell, PA. He is also sur­vived by grand­chil­dren Jef­frey Whit­tock Tour­dot, Ni­colle El­iz­a­beth Tour­dot, and Alyssa Ma­ree Tour­dot; and Jes­sica Marie Brun­ner, Robert Tyler Brun­ner and Zayne An­drew Brun­ner, and great grand­chil­dren Rae­gan Ma­ree To­bias and Niko­las Eli­jah Pet­ti­grew. He was pre­de­ceased by a sis­ter An­na­mae Whit­tock Siegle.

A fu­neral ser­vice will be held on Sat­ur­day June 24, 2017 at 12 noon at Boehm’s United Church of Christ, 571 Pen­l­lyn Blue Bell Pk, Blue Bell PA. Friends may call be­tween 11am and noon. The ser­vice will be of­fi­ci­ated by Rev Bill Mid­dle­ton and Pas­tor Sarah Sto­bie.

In­ter­ment will fol­low the ser­vice, fol­lowed by a lun­cheon in the church hall.
