Dawn E. Schet­tig, 85, for­merly of Perkasie, died Fri. June 23rd at Life­quest Nurs­ing Cen­ter, Quak­er­town. She was the wife of the late Wil­liam P. Schet­tig.

Born in Quak­er­town, she was a daugh­ter of the late Frank and Mar­jorie (Weitzel) Driller.

She loved God first and fore­most and loved her fam­ily. In years past she loved go­ing to the se­nior cen­ter, tak­ing trips, and read­ing her bible. She was also an avid reader. Once she be­came a res­i­dent of Life­quest, she was a reg­u­lar bingo player.

The fam­ily would like to thank the staff at Life­quest, es­pe­cially the DEF wing, and Car­ing Hospice for their ex­cel­lent care.

Sur­viv­ing are her sons, Robert Oak­ley of Ay­ers, MA, Ge­orge Oak­ley, fi­ancé Anne Rein­hol of Read­ing, Scott Oak­ley, wife Brenda of Quak­er­town, and Brian Oak­ley, wife Sara of St. Peters­burg, FL; daugh­ters, Lenore Grida, hus­band John of Rich­land­town, Theresa Hart­man (Ed­die), Bon­nie Petitt (Ricky), and Leanne Christ­man (Lou); son in law, Tim Christ­man; 23 grand­chil­dren, 24 great grand­chil­dren with 2 on the way; sis­ter, Brenda Mc­car­dle, hus­band Lynn.

Ser­vices will be held 11:00 AM Wed. June 28th at Nau­gle Fu­neral and Cre­ma­tion Ser­vice, 135 W. Pump­ing Sta­tion Rd., Quak­er­town. A view­ing will pre­cede the ser­vice from 10:00-11:00 AM at the fu­neral home. In­ter­ment in Whitemarsh Me­mo­rial Park, Am­bler.
