Stu­dents earn French awards

Seven stu­dents from Devon Prepara­tory School were rec­og­nized for their achieve­ment in the Na­tional French Con­test. Sil­ver: Ju­niors Austin Coz­zone of Spring­field and Jamie Lorgus of West Ch­ester. Hon­or­able Men­tion: Ju­nior Cae­lan Coyne of West Ch­ester, sopho­mores Brendan Kelly of Wayne, Kyle Kil­roy of Phoenixville, Sea­mus Slat­tery of Haver­town; and fresh­man Daniel Fotzeu of King of Prus­sia.

The Na­tional French Con­test/ Le Grand Con­cours is open to French stu­dents in grades 1-12, in all 50 states and abroad. Gold, sil­ver, and bronze medals are awarded to stu­dents who rank in the 75th to 95th per­centile na­tion­ally.
