Bank honors branches, employees for support of children’s charity
Firstrust Bank recently held the Richard J. Green Club Awards Dinner celebrating the bank’s branches and employees that had gone “above and beyond” during their annual Variety fundraising month. The honorees were treated to dinner and accolades at the Lucky Dog Salon & Grille in Conshohocken.
Since 1935, Variety – The Children’s Charity, a 501(c)3 organization, has aimed at building independence and self-confidence in children and youth with disabilities located throughout the Delaware Valley by engaging them in recreational, social and educational enrichment activities, while connecting families to resources.

The victim arranged to meet the male, later identified as Waghorn, at a park on Nov. 1, where he was taken into custody.
In addition to one count of rape, Waghorn has been charged with three counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a minor, unlawful contact with a minor, statutory sexual assault, sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, sexual abuse of children involving photographs, unlawful contact with a minor, corruption of minors, indecent assault, and related offenses.
He was arraigned before District Judge Patricia Zaffarano and taken to Montgomery County Prison on $500,000 cash bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Nov. 16.
