HOW SESSIONS WAS REPAID FOR LOYALTY

Star-Telegram - - Opinion -

The firing of Attorney General Jeff Sessions demonstrated that President Donald Trump has zero compassion for others and that loyalty for him is a one-way street.

Trump did not even have the courage to tell Sessions he was fired. Instead, he sent his chief of staff, John Kelly, to tell Sessions that he was fired and that he was to leave the Department of Justice that very day.

Sessions was one of the first people to support Trump’s candidacy, and he carried out many of Trump’s major policies on immigration and crime. But Trump never forgave him for recusing himself from the Russia investigation, which was required by Justice Department ethics standards.

Once again, Trump has shown the world he is selfcentered, mean and lacking any moral compass.
