age 95 of Fo­ley, died Oc­to­ber 11, 2017 at the Fo­ley Nurs­ing Cen­ter. Memo­rial Ser­vices will be at 12:00 PM Sun­day, Oc­to­ber 15, 2017 at the Fo­ley Funeral Home. Vis­i­ta­tion will be from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Mil­i­tary Hon­ors will be pro­vided by the Fo­ley Amer­i­can Le­gion, Post 298. Burial will be at Fort Snelling Na­tional Ceme­tery. Ser­vice with Dig­nity pro­vided by the Fo­ley Funeral Home. Harold Gor­don Babineau was born March 9, 1922 In Min­neapo­lis, Min­nesota to Louis and Bessie (Carlson) Babineau. He was WWII Army-Air Force Vet­eran where he was an air­plane me­chanic. Af­ter the war, Harold worked for Win­nSteven Buick in Min­neapo­lis as a auto me­chanic. He was an Honorary re­tired mem­ber of the Lo­cal #974. He mar­ried Marion Nor­berg and she pre­ceded him in death. He mar­ried Orvella Gehrke-Ma­likowski on Oc­to­ber 8, 1994 at Re­joice Lutheran Church in Clear­wa­ter. The cou­ple lived in Min­neapo­lis and later moved to Fo­ley. Harold en­joyed work­ing on all mo­tors, was al­ways will­ing to help oth­ers, and was a great story teller. He was pre­ceded in death by his par­ents; first wife, Marion; sec­ond wife, Orvella; and his sib­lings. fo­ley­fu­ner­al­home.net
