Age 86, born April 25, 1931, passed Novem­ber 13, 2017. Pre­ceded in death by his fa­ther & mother, Archie & Seraphine Braas­tad; sis­ter, An­ge­line Kientz; brother, Ken­neth Braas­tad. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 63 years, De­laine Braas­tad; two broth­ers, Howard (Mil­lie) Braas­tad & Ron (Shirley) Braas­tad; one sis­ter, Mar­lene Atkins; sis­ter-in-law, Jeanette Braas­tad; sis­ter-in-law, Kathy (Brook) Adolf­son; chil­dren, Julie (Don) Wurtzel, Jeff (Nancy) Braas­tad, Rick (Julie) Braas­tad, Tim (Pam) Braas­tad, Bruce (Tammy) Braas­tad; ten grand­chil­dren; 12 great-grand­chil­dren with an ad­di­tional baby girl on the way; nieces, neph­ews, ex­tended fam­ily & friends. Harold served in the Army in the Korean War ob­tain­ing the rank of Cor­po­ral. He served com­mu­nity res­i­dents with qual­ity ser­vice for over 50 years as a master elec­tri­cian and elec­tri­cal con­trac­tor. A Cel­e­bra­tion of Life ser­vice will be held on Satur­day, Novem­ber 18, 2017 at GLEN CARY LUTHERAN CHURCH (15531 Cen­tral Ave. NE, Ham Lake) at 11 AM with visi­ta­tion be­gin­ning at 9:30.
