Bull­dogs take out frus­tra­tion with easy vic­tory over Tigers

For the last three-plus decades, the LSU game has pretty much al­ways been a night­mare for Mis­sis­sippi State foot­ball.

On Satur­day night at Davis Wade Sta­dium, it was a three-hour-long cel­e­bra­tion.

The Bull­dogs con­trolled ev­ery facet of the game as MSU rolled to an up­set over the No. 12 Tigers 37-7. This wasn't just some or­di­nary up­set though. This was an ab­so­lute beat­down from be­gin­ning to end.

“There's noth­ing more fun than just go­ing out there and kick­ing some­one's butt,” Mis­sis­sippi State quar­ter­back Nick Fitzger­ald said. “We had a great time. We were phys­i­cal and we knew if we just played how we are sup­posed to play, we'd be fine.”

Prior to Satur­day, LSU had beaten MSU in 28 of the pre­vi­ous 32 meet­ings in­clud­ing 16 of the last 17. The Bull­dogs hadn't topped the
