Bulldogs take out frustration with easy victory over Tigers
For the last three-plus decades, the LSU game has pretty much always been a nightmare for Mississippi State football.
On Saturday night at Davis Wade Stadium, it was a three-hour-long celebration.
The Bulldogs controlled every facet of the game as MSU rolled to an upset over the No. 12 Tigers 37-7. This wasn't just some ordinary upset though. This was an absolute beatdown from beginning to end.
“There's nothing more fun than just going out there and kicking someone's butt,” Mississippi State quarterback Nick Fitzgerald said. “We had a great time. We were physical and we knew if we just played how we are supposed to play, we'd be fine.”
Prior to Saturday, LSU had beaten MSU in 28 of the previous 32 meetings including 16 of the last 17. The Bulldogs hadn't topped the
