1949 FORD CLUB COUPE | BRIAN BOZZO | SACRAMENTO, CA
Brian’s unchopped Shoebox was built by Marcos Garcia at Lucky 7 Customs. Brian took a risk by buying the car, out of Texas, over the phone. He used good parts from his ’49 sedan to replace bad parts on the coupe, and picked up other pieces along the way. A pair of Strombergs top the ’51 Merc Flathead. The interior was maintained in stock condition with a Crestliner steering as a custom detail. The ’49 had an advantage over the indoor show cars because Garcia’s ale brown paintjob looks best in the sunshine.
