One high­light of the an­nual SEMA Show in Las Ve­gas is the un­veil­ing of cus­tom ve­hi­cles. In 2017, River

City Rods & Fab­ri­ca­tion got a lot of at­ten­tion with its ’68 Chevy C30 camper. For the 2018 SEMA Show, builder Craig Pig­gott and the River City Rods team in­tends to takes things fur­ther out of the or­di­nary with their ’76 Ford B-100.

The Ford B-100 was a three-door SUV built and mar­keted in Mex­ico and un­known in the U.S. River City Rods calls its ver­sion the GTB-100. Mod­i­fi­ca­tions in­clude a 2-inch chop, Road­ster Shop chas­sis, Cur­rie En­ter­prises rearend, Auto Kraft Up­hol­stery cus­tom in­te­rior, wheels from Delmo’s Speed and Mike Cur­tis De­sign, PPG paint, a retro-styled GT40-in­spired Coy­ote engine, and more. “We are de­ter­mined to make it our most im­pres­sive project yet,” Craig Pig­gott says.
