One highlight of the annual SEMA Show in Las Vegas is the unveiling of custom vehicles. In 2017, River
City Rods & Fabrication got a lot of attention with its ’68 Chevy C30 camper. For the 2018 SEMA Show, builder Craig Piggott and the River City Rods team intends to takes things further out of the ordinary with their ’76 Ford B-100.
The Ford B-100 was a three-door SUV built and marketed in Mexico and unknown in the U.S. River City Rods calls its version the GTB-100. Modifications include a 2-inch chop, Roadster Shop chassis, Currie Enterprises rearend, Auto Kraft Upholstery custom interior, wheels from Delmo’s Speed and Mike Curtis Design, PPG paint, a retro-styled GT40-inspired Coyote engine, and more. “We are determined to make it our most impressive project yet,” Craig Piggott says.
