THIS ’72 CHEVROLET C-10 IS FAR FROM FINISHED IN BRIAN MACKENZIE‘S EYES, BUT IT ALREADY HAS MORE THAN ENOUGH TO BRAG ABOUT. The C-10 is powered by a Chevy 383 stroker engine matched with a built 700r4 automatic transmission. A 12-bolt rearend with a 3.75 gear ratio further defines the ’72. Suspension mods include a Hotchkis TVS suspension kit with custom trailing arms, drop spindles and Ridetech adjustable HQ shocks that let Brian control the height of his ride while giving the Chevy performance handling. The C-10 sits on a set of polished Raceline Burst 5 wheels with the 20-inch shoes wrapped in 295/40R20 rear and 255/40R20 front
Toyo Proxes tires. Fourteeninch Baer brakes from Pro Performance give the Chevy real stopping power and Brian more control on the road.
On the exterior, chrome and paint are clean, and a bed cover contributes to the build’s neat lines. The interior currently features buddy bucket seats with custom diamond stitching and matching headliner, but Brian is waiting on a full overhaul for the cab.
With even more upgrades to come, we can’t wait to see where this C-10 ends up.
