With the driver’s-side leaf spring un­der­neath the axle, the axle and stand were pushed to the driver’s side and then lifted in or­der to slide back over on top of the pas­sen­ger-side leaf spring. This process took a lot of mus­cle, but it saved time and headaches com­pared to al­ter­na­tive meth­ods of repo­si­tion­ing the axle.
