Why not all the above? Halloween in South Florida is an embarrassment of costume contests and zombie walks, monster crawls and haunted houses, music bashes and other occasions for homegrown terror.

You may have trouble counting the number of revelers suggestively dressed as the Twister board game during Wilton Manors’ annual block party. Themed “Game Night,” this year’s night of over-the-top shenanigans will span three stages between Northeast 21st Court and Five Points and will be emceed by drag entertainer Miss Misty Eyes. Costumecontest categories include “Best Sex Appeal,” “Best Group Appeal” and “Best Theme.” Our prediction? The winner will be dressed as the Monopoly guy.
