New Kids On The Block tour moves to BB&T Cen­ter

No need to worry. New Kids On The Block is still bring­ing “The Mix­tape Tour” to South Florida. But the venue has changed for the con­cert that will also in­clude Salt-N-Pepa, Tif­fany, Deb­bie Gib­son and Naughty By Na­ture.

Now when these pop stars take the stage July 14, 2019, it will be at the BB&T Cen­ter in Sun­rise in­stead of the Hard Rock Event Cen­ter.

Even though the show is next sum­mer, tick­ets are on sale now. Prices range from $45 to $165. There are var­i­ous VIP pack­ages (in­clud­ing some with a NKOTB photo op and a meet-and-greet) t hat cost be­tween $253-$575. Ac­cord­ing to a press re­lease from the BB&T Cen­ter, the arena change is “Due to over- whelm­ing fan de­mand for tick­ets.” Hard Rock Event Cen­ter seats 3,500 while the BB&T can seat more than 20,000 (de­pend­ing on the con­fig­u­ra­tion).

NKOTB and all of their tour mates shar­ing the bill have re­leased a sin­gle ti­tled “80s Baby” to boost the buzz for “The Mix­tape Tour.” The track fea­tures ‘80s song ref­er­ences with all the other acts tak­ing a few verses.

-- NKOTB’s hits in­clude “I’ll Be Lov­ing You (For­ever),” “Cover Girl,” "You Got It (The Right Stuff ),” “Han­gin’ Tough” and “Step By Step.”

Naughty By Na­ture’s an­thems in­clude “OPP,” “Hip Hop Hooray” and “Jam­boree.”

Deb­bie Gib­son’s song­book in­cludes “Only in My Dreams,” “Shake Your Love,” “Out of the Blue,” “Fool­ish Beat” and “Lost in Your Eyes.”

Salt-N-Pepa’s chart top­pers in­clude “Push It,” “Shoop” and “Whatta Man.”
