Sit by the sea and enjoy a threecourse meal at this waterfront eatery. For $40 per person, Hudson at Waterway East offers views of the Intracoastal along with appetizers such as potato gnocchi with black kale and gremolata or blue crab bisque with sherry gastrique, a sweet-and-sour sauce. You’ll be able to select between lemoncrusted mahi mahi, pan-roasted duck breast or flat-iron steak. There are three dessert options, including flowerless chocolate; an Indian river orange crème brûlée; and Santa’s plate, an assortment of cookies with a glass of eggnog. Another waterfront location, Patio Delray is a quiet hideaway offering Christmas Day dinner at 4:30 p.m. The menu is not prix fixe, so you’ll have plenty of options. There are 14 appetizer selections, including ahi tuna and avocado tartare ($15), wild-caught snow crab claw cocktail ($14), sugarcane shrimp skewers ($14) and baby octopus salad ($8). The menu then breaks the entree options down between plates from the sea or the land. Seafood lovers can choose Indonesian-spiced wild-caught shrimp ($25), grilled shrimp pasta Alfredo ($25) or jumbo crab cakes ($27). Land dishes include port wine-braised beef short rib ($29), or a 16-ounce pan-seared double-cut pork chop ($28). House-made desserts include white chocolate chip brownie ($8), rock candy confettidusted Mochi ice cream bonbon ($8) and the croissant bread pudding ($9). This casual French-American bistro will offer a three-course meal for $59 per person, beginning at 3 p.m. Start by selecting from burgundy escargots, a Maytag blue cheese salad or an onion soup gratin, to name a few. Entrees include local grouper, slowroasted duck, jumbo sea scallops, or Bell and Evans chicken breast. Inside this new oceanfront restaurant at the Ritz-Carlton Fort Lauderdale you’ll find “a nautical, industrial-chic ambience,” as our food writer Susan Bryant described it. Burlock Coast celebrates Christmas Day with a $65 prix-fixe menu from noon to 9 p.m. Choose from four main dishes, two sides and one dessert. Some of the main dish items include stone crab, tuna, chilled scallops, lobster pasta, octopus and venison. As for sides, select from among bacon-braised collards, herb focaccia, Yukon puree and spicy bok choy scarlet turnips. The two dessert options are dark rum cherry yule log with vanilla anglaise and pistachio gelato, or a white wine poached pear tart with an almond crunch and gingerbread spice ice cream. A bottomless drink special costs $30. An a la carte raw bar and charcuterie are also available.
Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort

Sit back, relax and enjoy a classic snowball cocktail with Brandy, eggnog and lemonade at the newly opened Margaritaville in Hollywood. The cocktail is one of five items on the prix-fixe menu served on Christmas Day. Guests can also order a spinach and cranberry salad before selecting between a slow roasted 12-ounce prime rib or a pan-seared Florida grouper. Finish off with apple tarts with eggnog reduction and wild berries. Adults eat for $38.99, while meals f or children 12-or-younger cost $24 and come with receive soda, juice or milk. Dinner is served from 5 to 11 p.m. but the restaurant stays open until 2 a.m. with live music.

Both Rosa Mexicano locations will have all-day special menus on Christmas Day (noon-midnight.). Choose between a two-course $35 prix-fixe menu or items a la carte at this contemporary eatery. The two-course meal lets you choose between 11 entrees, such as Alambre de Mariscos, a dish with grilled jumbo shrimp and scallops marinated in a garlic vinaigrette over achiote rice and spicy salsa verde. You’ll also get a crème brûlée with the choice of a tequilaspiked apple cider or Mexicanspiced apple cider. The a la carte menu has items for the table such as lobster ceviche ($18).
Patio Delray will roll a menu that includes several entree options from land and sea. Seafood lovers can choose jumbo crab cakes, above.
Both Rosa Mexicano locations in Miami and Miami Beach will have all-day special menus, complete with food and drinks.
