Sit by the sea and enjoy a three­course meal at this wa­ter­front eatery. For $40 per per­son, Hud­son at Wa­ter­way East of­fers views of the In­tra­coastal along with ap­pe­tiz­ers such as potato gnoc­chi with black kale and gremolata or blue crab bisque with sherry gas­trique, a sweet-and-sour sauce. You’ll be able to se­lect be­tween lemon­crusted mahi mahi, pan-roasted duck breast or flat-iron steak. There are three dessert op­tions, in­clud­ing flow­er­less chocolate; an In­dian river or­ange crème brûlée; and Santa’s plate, an as­sort­ment of cook­ies with a glass of eg­gnog. An­other wa­ter­front lo­ca­tion, Pa­tio Del­ray is a quiet hide­away offering Christ­mas Day din­ner at 4:30 p.m. The menu is not prix fixe, so you’ll have plenty of op­tions. There are 14 ap­pe­tizer selections, in­clud­ing ahi tuna and av­o­cado tartare ($15), wild-caught snow crab claw cock­tail ($14), sug­ar­cane shrimp skew­ers ($14) and baby oc­to­pus salad ($8). The menu then breaks the en­tree op­tions down be­tween plates from the sea or the land. Seafood lovers can choose In­done­sian-spiced wild-caught shrimp ($25), grilled shrimp pasta Al­fredo ($25) or jumbo crab cakes ($27). Land dishes in­clude port wine-braised beef short rib ($29), or a 16-ounce pan-seared dou­ble-cut pork chop ($28). This ca­sual French-Amer­i­can bistro will of­fer a three-course meal for $59 per per­son, be­gin­ning at 3 p.m. Start by se­lect­ing from bur­gundy es­car­gots, a May­tag blue cheese salad or an onion soup gratin, to name a few. En­trees in­clude lo­cal grouper, slowroasted duck, jumbo sea scal­lops, or Bell and Evans chicken breast. In­side this new ocean­front restau­rant at the Ritz-Carl­ton Fort Laud­erdale you’ll find “a nau­ti­cal, in­dus­trial-chic am­bi­ence,” as our food writer Susan Bryant de­scribed it. Bur­lock Coast cel­e­brates Christ­mas Day with a $65 prix-fixe menu from noon to 9 p.m. Choose from four main dishes, two sides and one dessert. Some of the main dish items in­clude stone crab, tuna, chilled scal­lops, lob­ster pasta, oc­to­pus and veni­son. As for sides, se­lect from among ba­con-braised col­lards, herb fo­cac­cia, Yukon puree and spicy bok choy scar­let turnips. The two dessert op­tions are dark rum cherry yule log with vanilla anglaise and pis­ta­chio gelato, or a white wine poached pear tart with an al­mond crunch and gin­ger­bread spice ice cream. A bot­tom­less drink spe­cial costs $30. An a la carte raw bar and char­cu­terie are also avail­able.

Mar­gar­i­taville Hol­ly­wood Beach Re­sort

Sit back, re­lax and enjoy a clas­sic snow­ball cock­tail with Brandy, eg­gnog and le­mon­ade at the newly opened Mar­gar­i­taville in Hol­ly­wood. The cock­tail is one of five items on the prix-fixe menu served on Christ­mas Day. Guests can also or­der a spinach and cran­berry salad be­fore se­lect­ing be­tween a slow roasted 12-ounce prime rib or a pan-seared Florida grouper. Fin­ish off with ap­ple tarts with eg­gnog re­duc­tion and wild berries. Adults eat for $38.99, while meals f or chil­dren 12-or-younger cost $24 and come with re­ceive soda, juice or milk. Din­ner is served from 5 to 11 p.m. but the restau­rant stays open un­til 2 a.m. with live mu­sic.

Both Rosa Mex­i­cano lo­ca­tions will have all-day spe­cial menus on Christ­mas Day (noon-mid­night.). Choose be­tween a two-course $35 prix-fixe menu or items a la carte at this con­tem­po­rary eatery. The two-course meal lets you choose be­tween 11 en­trees, such as Alam­bre de Mariscos, a dish with grilled jumbo shrimp and scal­lops mar­i­nated in a gar­lic vinai­grette over achiote rice and spicy salsa verde. You’ll also get a crème brûlée with the choice of a tequi­laspiked ap­ple cider or Mex­i­can­spiced ap­ple cider. The a la carte menu has items for the ta­ble such as lob­ster ce­viche ($18).
