Retail therapy: Cancer group hosts ‘Shopping Boutique and Luncheon’
The quest to raise funds and awareness in the battle to end breast cancer continues with the third annual NotMy Daughter…FindACure Now! “Shopping Boutique and Luncheon,” which takes place on Oct. 8 at the Marriott Heron Bay located in Coral Springs. Doors open at10 a.m. and the luncheon begins at noon.
The day has something for everyone including: an auction, raffles, entertainment byDJ Chris Cruz, photo opportunities and goodie bags. Aspecial performance will be given by rising pop/country music artists Jenny andAshley Cooke. Tickets are $60. Event proceeds will be donated to the Miami/Fort Lauderdale affiliate of Susan G. Koman for the Cure.
NotMy Daughter…FindA CureNow! is a volunteer-based organization led by breast cancer survivor Denyse Hostig. The goal of the group is to donate funds to support medical research to eradicate the disease before it reaches future generations. After fighting her own battle against breast cancer, Hostig focused her attention to make a safer future for her children.
“Each year we strive to bring our supporters an even more wonderful experience at our event. We are all so thankful to ourwonderful sponsors, friends and community who support NotMy Daughter…FindACure Now! and hope that this year their support will get us all closer to reaching our goal to end breast cancer,” said Hostig.
