Broward Meals On Wheels hosts ‘Chocolate Extravaganza’
Broward Meals On Wheels’ (BMOW) sixth annual “Chocolate Extravaganza” will take place on Oct. 20 from 7 to 11 p.m. at the International Game Fish Association (IGFA) located in Dania Beach.
The event begins with a VIP welcome reception at 6 p.m.; general admission begins at 7 p.m. with live music and entertainment, food stations, decorating competitions and a silent auction.
Cost is $75 for general admission and $125 for VIP.

“In any given week, we have seniors going without food two days out of the week. So the need is very real and very urgent,” said BMOWExecutive Director and Chair of Meals On Wheels Association of America, Peggy Miller.
“This year’s goal is to raise $50,000 to help provide these meals for thousands of seniors in need throughout the county.”
