‘Crystal Splendor’ gala honors Broward County notables
The Leadership Broward Foundation will honor five Broward County leaders at “Crystal Splendor,” Signature Grand’s 2012 “Profiles in Leadership Gala” presented by Holy Cross Hospital. The event will take place from 6 to 11 p.m. on Oct. 13 at Signature Grand in Davie.
Honorees include: Ann Marie Fox-Mancuso and the late Richard Mancuso of the Richard J. Fox Foundation; Nicki Grossman of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitor’s Bureau; Phil Smith of Phil Smith Automotive Group; Germaine Smith-Baugh of the Urban League Broward County; and Scott Verner ofNipro Diagnostics. The event is co-chaired by Pat Castillo, Jeff Cato and Laura Tarvainen.
“We’re excited to celebrate the achievements of our honorees and the profound impact they’ve had on our county,” said Cato. “We’ve created a very special experience for them— and for all of our guests— and we look forward to an elegant ‘crystal’ evening.”
The opening act of the evening will feature a dance performance by costumed performers. A dinner, silent and live auctions, tribute to the honorees and dancing will round out the black-tie-optional affair.
