Hear ye, hear ye Prestige Club hosts annual ‘Renaissance Ball’
Prestige Club will honor Rita and Rick Case of Rick Case Automotive Group, Paul Castronovo of Big 105.9FMand Jen Klaassens of TheWasie Foundation on Jan. 26 at the second annual “Renaissance Ball.” The event will take place at the Signature Grand located in Davie.
In true Renaissance fashion, the honorees and guests will be dressed in period clothing and King Louis and his courts will preside over a knighting ceremony presenting the honorees with awards for their support of the Prestige Club and their service to children and families in need throughout Broward County. Last year’s honorees were Ron Bergeron of Bergeron Land Development, Doris Muscarella, founder of The Women of the Roundtable, and Dr. George L. Hanbury II ofNova Southeastern University.
The evening will begin with a cocktail party and silent auction. A procession of dragons will escort King Louis and his court to dinner. There will be court jesters, jugglers, stilt dancers, artists and a special entertainment group of performers fromWorldWide Productions. A live auction will also take place.

In March, Prestige hosts a “Charity Golf Classic” and “High School Challenge” in appreciation of donors, sponsors and community leaders for their continued support. In addition, scholarships are given to randomly selected high schools that are then awarded to graduating seniors who achieve at least a 3.5 GPA and assist nonprofits in the community. This year the “Classic” and “Challenge” will take place on March 22 at the Woodlands Country Club located in Tamarac.
Established in 1996, Prestige Club’s purpose is to encompass a networking group of business leaders and help promote their services and skills to the community while at the same time organizing various fundraising, charity and educational events toward the advancement of people less fortunate. Prestige Club is an organization that offers compassion, support, and assistance to families and children in need. At the present time, Prestige Club sponsors more than 21 different nonprofit organizations in Broward County that assist toward the growth and development of the society.
