The donation will go toward the expansion of ReadingPals — a program that connects volunteer tutors with Pre-K through third-grade students — at Northside Elementary School and North Folk Elementary School. Both programs are scheduled to start in October. United Way of Broward County will purchase books for the students and all necessary supplies for the volunteers.
