Duffy’s Sports Grill re­cently made a $5,000 do­na­tion to Girl Scouts of South­east Florida, con­tin­u­ing its long stand­ing sup­port of the or­ga­ni­za­tion.

“We are proud to sup­port Girl Scouts of South­east Florida,” said Geri Em­mett, owner of Duffy’s Sports Grill and a for­mer Girl Scout. “As we con­tinue our cor­po­rate part­ner­ship, we thank the Girl Scouts for em­pow­er­ing the girls in our com­mu­nity to ful­fill their great­est po­ten­tial.”

For the past five years, Duffy’s has sup­ported Girl Scouts in a va­ri­ety of ways, in­clud­ing cre­at­ing a Samoa cup­cake dessert dur­ing Girl Scout Cookie sea­son, serv­ing as mem­ber­ship re­cruit­ment and cookie booth lo­ca­tions, and be­ing the site for the suc­cess­ful “Give A Box, Get A Box of Girl Scout Cook­ies” for the mil­i­tary ev­ery Fe­bru­ary.

“Girl Scouts is thrilled to con­tinue our part­ner­ship with Duffy’s,” said Denise Valz, CEO of Girl Scouts of South­east Florida. “From the cor­po­rate of­fice to the res­tau­rant em­ploy­ees, ev­ery mem­ber of the Duffy’s staff em­braces and sup­ports our mis­sion of pro­vid­ing girls with out­stand­ing lead­er­ship de­vel­op­ment skills.”
