Habitat for Humanity of Broward
Habitat for Humanity of Broward received a $35,000 grant from Bank of America. The money will be used to help fund construction of a home in Pompano Beach, said Perry Ecton, Habitat for Humanity of Broward’s executive director.
“Over the years, Bank of America has been an outstanding partner,” Ecton said. “We’re thrilled they have extended another grant to us. This will go a long way to help a needy family.”
In addition to the grant, Bank of America employees will volunteer their time to help build the home. Per Bank of America’s request, the home will be built to an elevated energy efficiency standard.
“We look forward to working side-by-side with Bank of America’s volunteers on this project,” Ecton said.
