The near impossible happened last week during a concert at Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium: Ryan Adams performed a rousing cover of Bryan Adams’ “Summer of ’69.” Twelve years earlier, in the same venue, he infamously cussed out and booted a fan who confused his name for the cheesy rocker behind “Please Forgive Me.” Of course, Ryan Adams’ career since exiting the alt-country act Whiskeytown in the early 2000s suggests he doesn’t need to bother covering anyone: He has recorded 14 albums in 15 years, including a Grammy-nominated, self-titled release in 2014. He’ll be supporting that album during his stop at the Fillmore Miami Beach (1700 Washington Ave.). $40.50-$55, with opener Jenny Lewis. 305-673-7300 or FillmoreMB.com.
