Golf course and tax rate on tap at meetings

With a schedule packed with meetings, Boca Raton City Hall will be busy Monday. Here are some topics to watch for:

Boca Raton Municipal Golf Course: About 2 p.m., City Council members will address 11 proposals from developers looking to buy the municipal golf course at 8111 Golf Course Road to build homes. City staff says it’s prepared to discuss the proposals and the overall issue of the course’s potential sale.

Budget and tax rate: At 6 p.m., City Council members will decide how much residents should pay in taxes and how the city will spend its $678 million budget during the coming fiscal year, which starts Oct. 1.
