LHP Adam Conley (3.75 ERA, 1.00WHIP) vs. RHP Trevor Cahill (4.76, 1.32): Conley missed pitching against his hometown team, the Seattle Mariners, by a day and instead opens the Marlins’ weekend series against the Padres. His only career outing against San Diego was two scoreless innings of relief in 2015. Both of Conley’s first two starts this year were against the Mets, who scored four earned runs in 11 innings.
