All should un­der­stand that the con­ver­sa­tion that Trump had with the FBI di­rec­tor was quite nor­mal for the for­mer — it was a “ne­go­ti­a­tion.”

Can any­thing con­struc­tive pos­si­bly ever get done while this least­qual­i­fied of all can­di­dates oc­cu­pies the Oval Of­fice? Clearly not, and I’ve got to be­lieve that by this time a quar­ter of those who cast their bal­lots for this em­bar­rass­ment, rue the day they did so, for so many rea­sons.

When I heard the news that Con­gress­woman Ileana Ros-Le­hti­nen is go­ing to re­tire in 2018, a bit­ter­sweet feel­ing flooded me. While I amglad that she will fi­nally be able to en­joy a happy re­tire­ment af­ter decades of pub­lic service, I knowCongress will lose a cham­pion of hu­man rights and re­li­gious free­dom.
