Hip hip hooray for the library of Delray

Sun Sentinel Palm Beach Edition - Society Scene - Palm Beach - - ON THE SCENE -

Summer is nearing an end, and students are headed back to school. While kids are still playing, the Delray Beach Public Library is planning ahead with school supplies, recently completing it’s inaugural “Off to a Good Start” school supply program. This program was the idea of longtime library volunteers Fran and Leon Sachs of Delray Beach who joined forces with Walgreens to provide 100 “back to school starter kits” to the Delray Full Service Center in Delray Beach.

The local Walgreens made available specially priced school supplies at a deep discount that were purchased by Mr. and Mrs. Sachs and the Library, so that library volunteers could assemble 100 kits in order to give each student at the Delray Full Service Center a boost to start a successful school year.
